John Washington III Says the System Is Broken and Asks Voters to Stand With Him
John Washington III, a 2028 presidential candidate, said politicians chase votes and money and then forget the people, and he asked voters to stand with a candidate who, in his words, actually works for them.

John Washington III is arguing that the political system is broken and that change will not come from the politicians now running it. Introducing himself as a presidential candidate, John Washington III wrote: "The system is broken. Politicians chase our votes, then our money, and forget us."
John Washington III contrasted what politicians say with what he said they do. They say "fight for you," he wrote, "then go back to business as usual." In his telling, that pattern does not change on its own: "This doesn't change until the people stand with someone who actually works for them."
John Washington III presented himself as that candidate and closed with a direct appeal to voters. "I'm that candidate. Stand with me," he wrote. "Let's take our power back."
