Halloween Ends Tonight at Central Florida's Parks — and the Holiday Season Starts This Week
Sunday is the last night for Halloween Horror Nights, SeaWorld's Spooktacular and LEGOLAND's Brick-or-Treat, while Disney's first holiday parties arrive next weekend and SeaWorld flips to Christmas on Friday.
Central Florida's theme-park calendar turns a corner on Sunday. Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Orlando runs its final night of 2026 tonight, opening at 6:30 p.m. with the separately offered Scream Early entry for eligible daytime guests after 2 p.m.; a Horror Nights ticket is separate from daytime park admission. SeaWorld Orlando's Halloween Spooktacular also concludes today, and LEGOLAND Florida's Brick-or-Treat finishes today as well, with the resort listing park hours of 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and its water park closing at 4 p.m. Busch Gardens Tampa Bay closes its family Spooktacular today, scheduled from noon to 4 p.m.
The turn to the holidays is immediate. SeaWorld has the shortest turnaround: its Christmas Celebration begins Friday, November 6, and runs on select dates through January 4, 2027. Disney's first separately ticketed holiday night follows on Saturday, November 7, when Jollywood Nights opens at Hollywood Studios from 7:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m., and the first Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party follows at Magic Kingdom on Sunday, November 8, from 7 p.m. to midnight — both are separately ticketed, so regular guests should expect early closings on party dates. LEGOLAND's Christmas Bricktacular begins November 21 on select dates through January 3, Busch Gardens adds a Wild Oasis Kids Weekend on November 7-8, and its Christmas Town begins November 13.
For today itself, Magic Kingdom lists regular hours of 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. with Early Theme Park Entry from 8:30 to 9 a.m. — a full evening before the party schedule starts — and Aquatica Orlando lists hours of 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. One operating note outlasts the season change: Universal's official park-hours page lists Volcano Bay as temporarily closed for planned maintenance, with reopening expected on or before April 1, 2027, so no Universal water-park day belongs in a fall or winter itinerary. Event details and hours can change; the operators' own calendars are the final word before a trip.
