Orlando Pride Close the Season Sunday at Seattle, With the Final Playoff Spot Hanging on the Result

The Orlando Pride's season ends Sunday in Seattle, and the match matters most to the team across from them. Orlando visits Seattle Reign FC at Lumen Field on NWSL Decision Day, Sunday, November 1, with kickoff at 5 p.m. ET (4 p.m. CT) on ESPN+, part of a final weekend in which all 16 clubs play at the same time and ESPN serves as the exclusive domestic broadcast home of all eight matches, the league announced.

The table sets the stakes. Seattle holds the final playoff place on 44 points, with North Carolina on 42 and Denver on 41 chasing the same spot, according to the Decision Day scenarios reported this week. Orlando, 11th on 36 points, is already eliminated — which makes the Pride the spoiler: a win or a draw in Seattle opens the door North Carolina and Denver are pushing on, while a Seattle win settles the race on its own.

Form offers no simple script. Orlando closed its home schedule with a 2-1 loss to Gotham FC on October 25, and Seattle drew 0-0 with Utah in its last match. The Sports Desk will file the Decision Day report after Sunday's finals.
