Orange Blossom Trail Narrows at Night All Week: Lane Closures at Four Cross Streets Through Thursday, and Clarcona-Ocoee Work Through November 13
FDOT crews are installing traffic-monitoring equipment on U.S. 441 at Country Club Drive, West New Hampshire Street, Clarcona Ocoee Road and Beggs Road, 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. through Thursday — while a second project ties up the Clarcona-Ocoee junction for nearly two weeks.

Orange Blossom Trail's night drivers get a slower week starting tonight. The Florida Department of Transportation's District 5 listings carry intermittent single-lane closures on U.S. 441 — the Trail — from Sunday, November 1 through Thursday, November 5, from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. each night, at four separate cross streets: near Country Club Drive, near West New Hampshire Street, near Clarcona Ocoee Road and near Beggs Road. All four are for the same job, installing a Traffic Monitoring System along the corridor, and all four are listed as intermittent — a lane closes where the crew is working, not necessarily at every site every night.
The longer job sits at the north end of that list. A second FDOT project at U.S. 441 and Clarcona-Ocoee Road runs from Sunday, November 1 through Friday, November 13, also 8 p.m. to 6 a.m.: westbound single-lane closures on Clarcona Ocoee Road from Edgewater Drive to Long Road and on toward the Trail, and northbound single-lane closures on Orange Blossom Trail itself from Cinderlane Parkway to Clarcona-Ocoee Road, for concrete work and signalization. Drivers who use the Trail to reach Clarcona-Ocoee — or Clarcona-Ocoee to reach the Trail — should expect the junction to be a one-lane negotiation for the next two weeks of nights.
The practical frame is the usual FDOT one, and it matters on this corridor: the closures are overnight only, the schedules can shift with weather — and this week's forecast carries rain chances above 40% on four straight days — and the department asks drivers to slow down and use caution through the work zones. This is surface-street work on the Trail itself; the separate SR 408 expressway closures at the Trail, already in the station's traffic file, are the expressway's own project and run on their own schedule.
