S.R. 423 (Lee Road) Lane Closures Run Nightly November 1-5 Between Kingswood Drive and Adanson Street, FDOT Says
Drivers on Orlando's north side should expect intermittent single- and double-lane closures on Lee Road in both directions from 7 p.m. to 7:30 a.m. each night, Sunday through Thursday, while crews install sidewalks and do curb work.

A week of overnight lane closures starts Sunday night on one of north Orlando's main east-west roads. The Florida Department of Transportation's Central Florida lane-closure listing for S.R. 423 — Lee Road — between Kingswood Drive and Adanson Street calls for intermittent single- and double-lane closures in the outside and center lanes, in both the eastbound and westbound directions, from Sunday, November 1 through Thursday, November 5.
The closures run from 7 p.m. each evening to 7:30 a.m. the following morning, and FDOT lists the work as sidewalk installation and curb work along the corridor. Lee Road carries traffic between U.S. 17-92 and the College Park and Winter Park edges of the city, so the overnight windows are the hours to use alternate east-west routes — Princeton Street and Fairbanks Avenue are the closest parallels — if a closure is active.
FDOT's standing guidance on its closure listings applies here as it does across the district: schedules can shift with weather and conditions, and drivers should slow down and stay alert through the work zone. The Lee Road listing joins the district's other first-week-of-November work already on the station's traffic file, including the S.R. 436 milling and paving closures between Lake Howell Road and Casselton Drive over the same nights.
